Dermalux LED Photherapy

Juvea Aesthetics are now pleased to offer the Dermalux LED Phototherapy, a revolutionary non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment which is clinically-proven to provide guaranteed results in combatting a number of skin concerns including acne, scars, signs of ageing (such as fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation) and sensitive skin problems such as rosacea, eczema or psoriasis.

Dermalux works by using differing wavelengths of light as a source of energy to activate cellular processes within the skin, enhancing the renewal of healthy cells which slows down over time due to ageing, problem skin conditions, or as a result of trauma to the skin. Depending on your skin concern, a different coloured light will be used to get the best results for skin improvement.

Ageing Skin

Dermalux LED effectively treats fine lines, wrinkles and ageing hands and as the LED does not use heat there is no damage to surrounding skin.

Acne Prone Skin

Dermalux acne light therapy reproduces the properties of sunlight without its damaging UV light which kills bacteria and can be used on the most sensitive skin, darker skins, teenage skins and stubborn cystic acne. When acne bacteria appears as spots, porphyrins are produced which absorb blue light energy, providing antibacterial benefits.

Dermatitus

Dermalux can help reduce inflammation and itching, accelerate healing, help to prevent bacterial infection and prevent the need for creams.

Pigmentation

Light therapy is a safe way to get an even skin tone without using pigmentation lasers or creams and is suitable for all skin types including darker skins. The LED light wavelength has an antioxidant effect which encourages the body to produce melanin which lightens hyperpigmentation.

Psoriasis

Results can last for several months following your LED Phototherapy treatments but as with all aesthetic treatments we advise maintenance sessions for optimum results.

Will I need any aftercare following my Dermalux treatment?
